Today we had a special treat, as Miss Montague went from being a student to a teacher in the blink of an eye.
She did a great job teaching the class about how to summarise a text.
She will remember not to talk too much in future!
Today was Melbourne Cup preparation day for our eggs today. We discussed the fashion of the Melbourne Cup, and the types of hats that are often worn. We then, as a part of T & E, had to draw and construct a hat for our egg.
Have a look at our photos below and comment on your favourite!
There is a lot happening at the moment, so I thought I would keep you updated via the blog…
Please remember…
1. Notes to purchase a Year Book (with $10) need to be returned to the office by FRIDAY.
2. Notes for the boat cruise are due in as soon as possible ($20). I think it is due by the 23rd.

Here are some photo’s of Larry, Lyndon’s egg, on some adventures.
Sophie’s Egg (named DC) has been on some great adventures overnight. Check out some of the photos below!
Keep sending in any photos you have!
This week we have the job of taking care of an egg. It must go everywhere with us! If we go to the shop, the movies, dinner or sport, it must come!
If we are unable to look after it, we must get it ‘egg sat’.
We also have a competition as to who can take the most interesting photos of them with their egg.
Please comment with your egg related story!
Here are some photos of Nikita with her budgie and egg.
Gardening is a great hobby, especially if you are making a vegetable garden that you can eat the food from.
Maddi, along with her dad, has constructed a great vege garden at her house.
Have a look at the photos below. We look forward to seeing it progress.
If you have any photos from any of your hobbies, I would love to see them!
Today in class we started an online game called “Bully For You”. The goal is to help find Ted Andrews, who has gone missing.
Unfortunately some students did not get a chance to start this today due to not having handed in the homework required to begin. Those that did had a good time!
Each student was given a code, and then they made their own log-ins.
CLICK HERE to go to the website (If you have not used the site before, you need to put your code in the box “Student Access Code”.
Please feel free to go to the website and change your profile and try to solve the crime (Even if you had a go today).
If you find clues, please post them on here to help others!
