Writers’ Day Out

Writers’ Day Out

Today we were lucky enough to participate in the school’s first Writers’ Day Out. All students across the school were given the opportunity to participate in different writing activities.

These activities included Macbook activities, chalk writing outside the library, relabelling the school, writing letters to the future and dream leaves and handprint labelling.

Below are some photos from Chalk Writing. Please leave a comment, telling everyone your favourite activity.

Maths Investigations- Weather

Maths Investigations- Weather

This term LA 23 has been investigating the temperatures and rainfall of different cities across the world.

Each student was given a different city and had to complete a table of weather data. From this data, students created a line and bar graph to represent this information.

They then needed to analyse the information and interpret it, in order to recommend the best time of the year for a tourist to visit that country.

Tribe Athletics Carnival

Tribe Athletics Carnival

Last week we held our annual Tribe Athletics Carnival. While there was a little bit of rain, we managed to get through it all and have a great time.

Well done to everyone for striving to do their best! Well done also to Burgundy Bilbies who won the overall shield.

Congratulations to Georgia for winning Champion Year 6 girl and Georgie for finishing Runner Up. Well done also to Sophie for winning the best sportsmanship award in her rotation group.
