Volcanoes

Volcanoes

Today we made volcanoes in Science. We made these by mixing bicarb soda and vinegar. We also used dye and washing up detergent for further effect.

It was great fun!

Sydney or the Bush- Centenary of ANZAC

Sydney or the Bush- Centenary of ANZAC

Today we were lucky enough to be visited by Sydney or the Bush.

This show is dedicated to mateship, multiculturalism, history and many Aussie traditions and icons born on the battlefields such as Waltzing Matilda, The ‘Coo-ee’, Billy tea, the emu plumes, our Waler horses and Anzac biscuits.

It was great to meet Syd, Kim, Henry, Vegemite and Oakey.

As well as learning about the history of our ANZACs, we were lucky enough to see many tricks performed by the crew. April and Jess even had the chance to help out with the shearing.
