Hi all,
I was meant to put these up earlier, but we have all been very busy! We had a great time at camp a couple of weeks ago.
Most of the photos are from one of the groups, but hopefully you can find a photo of yourself somewhere.
On Friday we had our annual Year 6 Free Dress Day fundraiser. This year’s theme was sport. Students dressed up in their favourite AFL, soccer, rugby and netball team colours (as well as a huge range of other sports). Many students also came in their local sporting uniforms. Overall we raised $660, which will go towards a variety of year 6 events.
Today we had the opportunity to play some of our board games with LA 22, Miss Deeks and Mrs Legerstee. They were pretty impressed with our games and we look forward to playing their games in a couple of weeks.
Wednesday was Harmony Primary’s annual Parent Night. It was fantastic to see so many parents, friends and family come in and see all the hard work that everyone has put in this year.

Maddy does the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
We have had several students and teachers support the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge over the past couple of weeks. This is a fantastic cause and way to raise awareness of an important issue.
Below is a video of Maddy completing the challenge.

Below is the video from our assembly item on Fire Safety. Everyone did a great job and should be very proud. Please feel free to leave a comment or send the link to the video to friends or family.
Well done to Jayden, Marissa and Madeleine who competed in the Harmony Science Week Competition on Friday.
The aim of the competition was to shoot a table tennis ball as far as they could using a catapult that they needed to make at home.

Yesterday was our class assembly, and everyone should be really proud of their performance. We did a play about fire safety and keeping safe around the house. Everyone did a great job!
Below are some photos from the day.
Last Thursday, a group of year 6 students challenged the teachers to a game of netball at lunchtime. It was great fun, and the students put up a good fight. We look forward to being challenged again to another match!
