  8. My dog died last Friday around when we do 5/6 sport. :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( I’m sad.
    He was 14 yrs old, he had a good life. My dog’s name is Seamus. Seamus died (passed away) on the 20th of June, 2014.
    It’s strange not hearing him wining at the door or not hearing him snoring at night.
    At least he’s not in pain anymore.

  22. hi Mr Sim, the book I’m reading is called ‘Click’ and ten best selling, award winning authors wrote it.
    one of the ten authors each wrote one chapter in the book.
    the ten authors are: Eoin Colfer, Linda Sue Park, Rulh Ozeki, Nick Hornby, Tim Wynn-Jones, David Almond, Gregory Maguire,
    Deborah Ellis, Margo Lanagan and Roddy Doyle. each chapter is about one person, there are ten chapters for ten authors.

    chapter 1: Maggie
    chapter 2: Annie
    chapter 3: Jason
    chapter 4: Lev
    chapter 5: Maggie
    Chapter 6: Vincent
    chapter 7: Min
    chapter 8: Jiro
    chapter 9: Afela
    chapter 10: Margaret

    The book is really cool, (if you want to know more wait till i finish the book so i can do Lexile Reading Activity 8.

  26. when i was doing my book quiz my ipad went flat so then later on i tried doing the quiz again but it keeps on saying you must wait another 7 days to try again…:-(

  27. I went to Murdoch pines today,its a golf and recreation park.
    I went mini golfing and it was so fun. On hole No.18 I did this really cool thing were I hit the bounced it bounced up the hill and landed straight in the hole, although that was my last go not the first I had tried so many times before it kept going out of the area!

  28. I do karate every Tuesday night from 6:30pm to 7:30pm its really fun.

  45. Hi guys I just finished the last book of this really amazing trilogy called The Infernal Devices

    it’s not in lexile though, but you can read it outside of school

    It’s AMAZING and everybody should go read it! On iTunes there is not a single review without 5 stars!

    Never have I cried so much in a series before though lol

    • Hi Peter,

      If it is a lexile book then it should be there (although not all will have a quiz). Try searching only by the author’s surname, or a only a part of the title of the book. If this does not work then I will have a look in class for you.

    I’m trying to print a photo so I can make it into a card for mother’s day but for some reason I
    can’t print from my computer so i’m going to try and print it from my mums computer instead.
